Morning can anyone tell me how long it is taking to get cares allowance sorted as been told its a long wait

    Good morning @Jamie1956 and welcome! I can't say for certain, I have read on Saga's website it should be around 3 weeks from the date the claim is received- that was updated in 2020 though. I suspect there might a large backlog in processing claims since the pandemic unfortunately.

    The last claim for CA i was involved in took less than a week, but that was just before covid.
    2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

    It has been known for it to take between 8-12 weeks sometimes longer and backlogs at the moment are huge.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
    If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
