Hi, I had my assessment in October and got a phone call over a week later to say they needed more information and I had to elaborate on a couple of questions - I was on the phone no more than 10 minutes the second time. I got a text a couple of days later to say my report has been submitted - 05/11. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm new to this and this is my first time applying, unsure what to expect or make of it. Grateful of any insight.

Hi @mariaaaa123 - & welcome to the community. Yes, I had a short phone call the week after my first assessment going over a couple of things too. We've also had quite a few members mentioning the same. The text you received is also a standard one. So, nothing to be worried about, in fact I think it's good that further questions are asked before a decision is made.

Thank you, that's good to know. I found the process quite daunting, fingers crossed. I'm hoping I'll hear back in the next month or so, giving me angst waiting on a decision0

I think we all feel we're going through the wringer with PIP claims! I hope you can try & relax now that it's done, & forget about it for a while. Do have a look around the forum & join in with the discussions, or have a look in our 'Coffee lounge' for a chat & some word games.
