Limited Capability Of Work. Should I be getting any pay for this element?
Hi, I have been on LCA for over a year from the Jobcentre and I’ve never had any pay for this element.. I’ve enquired about it and my work coach has just told me that “we don’t pay anymore” is this true or am I just being messed around.. because they literally pay me nothing when I can’t work and I’ve proved I can’t currently work.. my wife is a full time student. Please could I have some advice? TIA

From my understanding LCW does not entitle you to any extra payment, only LCWRA.0

Can you possibly explain the difference? Because I had to fill out a large booklet and then got a letter stating I’d been awarded LCW//LCWA so that’s confusing to me.. thank you kindly0

Your letter will have told you which group you were placed in, you can only be placed in one group, can you confirm which group your letter states?0

You either have LCW for which you get no extra money or LCWRA for which you do.0

The decision letter would have told you exactly what the decision was. You need to take a closer look. If it says limited capability for work (LCW) there’s no extra money.Jackson87 said:
