DLA and Adjustable Beds

Good afternoon all.
I am my mums (87 years old) official carer.
She currently receives DLA and, as her carer, I receive AA.
She wants to buy an adjustable bed.
My question is, does anybody know if she can get assistance or VAT reduction in purchasing one due to her condition and by getting the benefits she qualifies for?
She has a chronic health condition (Ileostomy - 50 years old in 2021) and mobility issues, to the extent that the local county council social services have fitted handrails in her flat.
Any advice or suggestions anybody can provide, would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
Ian
