So, I just have a couple of questions.
I got rewarded LCWRA on 22nd December 2021 after having my assessment on the 17th December and the letter said if I was owed any money I would find out in 7 days, I’m pretty sure it’s been over 7 days but with Christmas/New year/bank holidays. It might not have been.
I get paid on the 5th of each month but I have been continuously sending sick notes in from the 11th June 2021. Can anyone tell me which months will be backdated and if benefit cap is back dated too?

There's a 3 full month assessment period (AP) waiting time from the date you reported your health condition and the extra money is then paid from the 4th month of your claim.Your AP's are from 30th - 29th of eaxh month. If you reported your health condition on the same day you sent the fit note then you report this is in your AP dated 30th May - 29th June, as this was in the middle of an AP it doesn't count.Your waiting period is June/July, July/Aug, Aug/Sept.. LCWRA starts from AP 30th sept - 29th October and first payment would be 5th November. If you received the LCWRA element on 5th January they will owe you 2 months. If you didn't receive it in January they will owe you 3 months.0
