Hi, hoping someone can advise me on SDP . I am on ESA ( support group) I also get enhanced PIP on both categories and UC.
Does anyone know if I am entitled to SDP ?
Thanks

No you are not. The SDP is for income based ESA whereas you get new style ESA which is not income based.1

Unfortunately not because the ESA you’re claiming is New Style ESA and there’s no disability premiums payable on this. There’s also no disability premiums payable on UC.

OK, thank you . It's all very confusing, I'm relatively new to this0

It certainly can be quite confusing @yves, especially when it's something that is new to you, you definitely aren't alone in that regard.

@Ross_Scope
They don't make it easy do they. The disabled are really disregarded when it comes to support. Thankfully there are charities out there to help us .0 -
No it certainly isn't easy @yves, but yeah it's good that there are support services out there, and platforms where you can receive peer support from others going through similar things.
