Call from DWP regarding Mandatory Reconsideration

Hi I had a phone call this morning from DWP after submitting my Mandatory reconsideration 9 weeks ago is this standard practice?

Hi,

Sometimes a decision maker will ring you before they make a decision if there's any questions they have. It's not standard practice but it does happen.

Just a quick update my mandatory reconsideration was successful and have received my back payment thank you for all your advice and support xx

Yes I’m happy with it been a long hard process but all I will say to people is persevere if you don’t get the outcome you expect xx
