Hi,
I am asking again regarding my friends disabled Daughter who is bedridden. She would like now to publish some poems she wrote sone time ago. Unlikely to make very little mobey if any but will she have to inform the DWP that she is doing this or only if she receives any money?
Thank you so much.

Hello @Carla35 thanks for your post, I'm afraid I don't have the knowledge to answer your query, but to help our members find it I've marked it as unanswered. Hopefully someone can advise you soon

Hi @Carla35 my hunch is that your friend's daughter will not have to report her poetry writing to the DWP. If she has been awarded ESA due to physical functions this will not be relevant. I cannot see either that it follows that an ability to write poetry shows that her daughter no longer has LCWRA due to her mental cognitive and intellectual functions. Going forward if her poetry writing does bring in an income then if she has contribution based ESA this will be ignored. If she has a mix of contribution based ESA and income related ESA or income related ESA only then, at that stage, she would need to tell the DWP about her income. I wish her every success for the future !0

However in this case I agree however that this sounds de minimus0
