Iv been awarded LCWRA, the 3 month relevant period finished on 11 November. They gave me a payment in January for1 month and said I'm not entitled to any backdated payment, is this right,?

    Hi,
The waiting period is 3 full assessment periods and then it's paid on the 4th month of your claim starting from when you first reported your health condition. During this waiting period, it's not paid at all.

I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hi @lilylou and welcome to the community :) Thanks for your question, has poppy's response been useful?

I've moved your post into our UC category and changed the title a bit so it's easier to find.

The three months is not calculated from when you reported the health condition. It is three full months after the end of the assessment period in which you reported the health condition. What date did you report your health condition? What date are you paid your UC?
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.
