I put an appeal online for PIP on 22nd Dec 2021 and DWP had until 26th Jan 2022 to respond.  I have had a missed call today from DWP and an email from HMCTS saying the DWP  have responded to my appeal. So I await the post. If it wasn't for some of the members on here I wouldn't have taken it this far but this site is amazing for advice. I will keep you all updated. MR came back unchanged hence the appeal

Thanks for the reply , the number they rang me on is outbound only. I was awarded 8 Daily living and 4 on mobility and MR came back unchanged so hence the appeal. Need to just wait see what they have posted out I suppose,  hopefully good news.

Hi @cazza6565 I hope it's good news for you as well!

If you do need anything in the meantime please don't hesitate to ask, and I'm glad to hear you feel the community is a good place for advice :) Do you have much planned for the weekend?

No good news I'm afraid. The "bundle " arrived this morning.  The bit I find funny is DWP are claiming to have attempted to ring me twice yesterday afternoon and it's highlighted on the papers which were sent 2nd class.  Royal Mail never been that fast for 2nd class to my knowledge. Anyway on to tribunal for me.

Oh I'm sorry to hear @cazza6565 I can recommend Scope's overview of the process as a good place to start, as well as Turn2Us. You can also give the Scope Helpline a call if you'd like someone to talk to.

But first you must give yourself some time to have a break away from this all, to process what's happened. It's very upsetting, so taking a break, or talking to a friend or loved one will help. Then when you feel able to, you can come back to it.

Let us know how you get on when you can :)

Im sure it's coincidental @cazza6565 but in my bundle the DWP also stated that they'd attempted to call me twice.  I'd had no calls at all that day.

My tribunal is the week after next.  Nervous but looking forward to drawing a line under it as its dragged on for 12 months.

Thanks for your reply. I think i will be in for a long wait as well to be honest. The whole process is just draining.
