hi was awarded LWC on universal credit on 7th of December my assessment period is 17th to 18th
my partner works full time earning between £1400 and £1750 a month as it is weekly pay and some months have 5 weeks pay in them
we have 3 children ages are 16 14 10 and oldest is still in full time education
so we are above AET threshold
I have an appointment at job centre on the 11th of February for work related activities does anyone know how often u have to go to job centre with LWC and what happens next as we are pretty new to universal credit someone said should be in light touch group but don’t know if that’s right with been awarded Lwc and does anyone know how long u get awarded it for thanks for any info

Hi there
If you have got lcw the work commitments will be discussed with your work coach and agreed
You should only have to prepare for work not look for work and again your work coach will discuss any appointments there isn't really anything fixed depends on individuals
Your award stays in place till you are reassessed and new decision made
They can assess anytime 3 months after award but this is very unlikely
There is no extra payment with lcw you only get extra if awarded lcwra1 -
Thank you for response, I will call the helpline tomorrow I have a matter regarding my pip assessment0

Hello @janehillhouse03 I'm just checking in to see how you've been getting on since you posted in January? If there's anything we can still help with, please do say.
Hi @haffyali how did the call go in the end?0
