Hiya, I'm Isla and I have GMFCS Level 3/4 Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy. With that of course, I have secondary conditions such as Scoliosis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and CRPS. I am studying History at the University of Leeds, and I am a part-time supply LSA at an SEN school on my days off from uni. I am probs going to use this to rant about negative experiences I get at uni and being a young adult with a disability aha, but I'm more than happy to talk about the DSA process, UCAS, and finding accommodation for studying. Hope to talk to some of you

I just wanted to welcome you to the community and say that it's completely okay to rant, hahaha. I have also been a disabled student and can relate to many of the difficulties that come with it. I'm sure that your presence here will be invaluable for lots of people, especially with the tips that you'll be able to give them. If you're looking for those with specific shared experiences, I'd recommend starting in our Education category, where these conversations happen regularly.
