Tribunal success

After exactly 1 year from posting my Pip2 form, going through a telephone assessment where I kept mobility ER but loosing my daily SR by only 2 points.
Going through an absolutely pointless MR 12 week wait for the same decision outcome with little credibility.
I took my case to the Tribunal. Waited 10 weeks and via telephone call after the judge, doctor and disability representative had introduced themselves immediately awarded me the 2 points back after my rep had just laid out the case and what we were asking for.
I never needed to answer a question.
All that worry & sleepless nights and hours that I had put in writing notes, statements, summaries etc
and my award was given back within 5 minutes
Why wasn’t it obvious to the DWP that their decision was not correct but blindly obvious to 3 people from HMRC after just reading through the papers?
Anyhow another 2 years to relax and then go through the whole process again in 2024.
But I have learned an awful lot and my rep was worth every penny.
It is a disability charity that covers our local area and they ask and rely on donations. I just wish I had gone to them for help from the very start like I did with my last award.
