Hi , I received a copy of my assessment report today , it shows I've been recommended 12 points for daily living and 4 for mobility , however she's recommended the zero points for planning a journey, she then says she considered giving me the f descriptor but decided I can work around the issue , without going on to much its very contradictory of previous points recommended elsewhere.... I'm just wondering does the dm always ring you before coming to a decision and could I possibly raise the discrepancies with them before that decision is made?

No DMs do not call every applicant before a decision. That would amount to an awful lot more work. They tend to call if they need further information or a question answered.Pulling apart the assessors report will not get you PIP.If you feel you need to add any extra evidence than you will need to post this to them quickly.0

She does not suggest any way I can work around the issue , she just simply says that I could.. I've been recommended points for not being able to dress, engage face to face or manage money alone but I can go on a journey alone? I've had to hand in my driving licence for health reasons so any journey I would take would be walking... points reccomended for can't walk more than 200 meters. Or public transport which in turn would require all of the above.
In my opinion anyway.. what do you think ?
