Being asked to provide fit notes

in Universal Credit (UC)
Hi there.  I claim Universal Credits and been on it for a year now. I have been claiming carers allowance for my son since June 2019, which Universal Credits are aware off.  I had a message in my journal which stated I now needed to provide fit notes. I am not sure why. They are aware I am full time carer to my son, so I am not sure why this is happening. I have put a message in my journal so awaiting outcome of this. I was wondering if you guys could help shed some light on this.

    Have you reported a health condition to UC? If so you will be expected to provide Fit Notes. You will then be referred for a Work Capability Assessment. If found to have LCWRA you would be entitled to the LCWRA element (unless your partner already gets it) which is worth more than the carer element.

    No I haven't reported a health condition to them.  Thats why I am stumped.
