Hi there, I've still not heard anything yet since my assessment week before last as you said, it'll take 2 to 12 weeks, my anxiety is through the roof, does any one know if the 1st payment is at a random day and time or will it always fall on the day you'll be paid and after midnight? I just need some peace so I don't keep looking at my phone, it's making me more ill. 😩

If successfully awarded then you usually receive any money owed before the decision letter, which could be anyday of the week depending on when payment was sent.Your future payments will always be made on the same day each week and it's paid every 4 weeks.0

Thank you poppy, the wait is awful isn't it. Could I phone them to find out any updates?0

Indeed it is, most people think exactly the same. To be honest ringing them can cause more anxiety because it could take anything up to an hour waiting for someone to answer but it's your choice whether you ring them or not.I know it's difficult but try to focus on something else because a decision could be a while yet.0

Ok thanks poppy, I'll take your advise and wait.0

And if you do ring them they almost certainly will not be able to tell you anything useful anyway.0
