hi just joined looking for help in what benefits i can get i have parkinsons for over 10 year but only just found out i could get benefits for this a friend told me he got his attendance allowance backdated to when he was first dignosed tryed the gov but they say no can you help

What benefits you can get depend on your circumstances
There are mo benefits specific to having parkinsons
Your friend may be referring to pip or new style esa
Please look in our benefits section to find info on both these
Pip is a non means tested benefit for disabled people who are unable to carry out daily living and mobility tasks
