Did anyone else get a payout today?
It is the exact amount the keep publishing in the newspapers?

There is still no ruling on the court case, but today we received the money?

Am I dreaming?

Hmmm. As far as I know thereโ€™s no decision been made on court case. Maybe call and ask what itโ€™s for?ย

    Hi @marija,ย

That's good that you were proactive and contacted the DWP with regards to your unexpected payment. You mention that you're at a loss with this all now, is there any further questions that you'd like to ask to help with this? :)

For the moment i am fine, at least i think so. ๐Ÿคญ
This was just to big of a coincidence that it was the amount they kept saying ppl on legacy benefits will get.

But i also didnt want to get overpaid and then having to pay it back.ย

Rather give them a call and find out.ย

Now the letter will come in 10 days, like the last time when they paid backdated.

I was so hoping for everyone on legacy benefits that the payment was that!

    Hopefully soon ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Okay, that's good to know :) If you can, I think it's always a good option to ring them directly, as they will be able to further clarify any confusion caused. It's good that you now know what you're dealing with :)
