Mandatory Reconsideration Successful

Hi all I sent all my evidence in and my mandatory reconsideration was successful.I got 11 points on daily living and 10 points on mobility.

However when I went through about how many points I should recieve, I had 26 for daily living and 14 for mobility.

So I'm sort of looking for a bit of advice on weather I should appeal or not?

Thanks

It's very easy to overscore yourself with the PIP descriptors if you don't full understand they mean and the criteria, just as easy to underscore yourself too.
No one here can tell you whether you should appeal that decision because we don't know exactly how your conditions affect you.

Hello, I have to agree with Poppy on this when or if you or I do a self PIP test if we are not honest and truthful to the answers we submit then we can and will get a different answers to what we really should be getting in a real, assessment situation. Sometimes we submit to much of the wrong information or to little of the correct evidence and information in our PIP application forms.

Hello @Gazzanova if you'd like a clear overview of the steps to take if you're advised to challenge the decision, you can find Scope's information here. But do make use of Advice Local first.
