I have a problem with a shoprider transaxle

I have a problem with a shoprider  transaxle the motor is fine and the brake,
The wheels go round the wheels are of the ground and I can stop the wheels with my hand, Does this mean the gear box is broken

I'm afraid I lack the engineering knowledge to answer your question directly. Have you been able to speak to the supplier of your shoprider about the issues you're experiencing?
