My initial PIP application was declined; I have submitted a reconsideration - of the reconsideration is successful is payment backdated to date of my original claim or from date of my reconsideration was submitted. And on average how long does a reconsideration generally take. My initial application took 16 weeks.
Thank you

Your initial application was much quicker than many, was this including an assessment? If your mr is successful it’ll get backdated to your original claim date.1

Thank you. It did include assessment. There were several errors in the decision the main one was that I drove and this showed significant functionality. I’ve never ever held a drivers licence.1

Hello @Dots
Thanks for your update. It is always great to know where you are at with things. Have you been able to inform them of these errors? Hopefully, they will change it accordingly!1 -
We’ve included them in the reconsideration. It seems a great forum !0
