My pip claim

Good afternoon all, hope everyone has been safe during these storms!
So as some of you may have seen my post previous asking for advice on my pip assessment, well two weeks have past since then and I thought I'd give them a ring to see if any news.
While filling in my details it said I had a payment date on the automated line. Great news?
The automated line she said I would get 490£ the 16th march !
The guy on the phone also said a decision has been made and the letters in the post!
I worked it out on the amount they said I'd receive and it sounds like standard living and advanced mobility. I don't want to sound ungrateful or greedy but I don't understand how I didn't get advanced for living as I definitely would have scored over 12 points on the living allowance.
Do you think it may be worth appealing it or just be happy with what I get if that is what it is?
Do you think I should appeal?
I've been waiting around 3 months since I first made date of first claim, does it get back dated from then?
I will have to see what my letter says when it arrives because I don't even know full details yet but want to be prepared!
Thank you and stay safe Jamie

Hi @jamiewales what number did you call to input that information to get an automated message ??0

Could the call centre op not tell you the rate you were awarded? It’s difficult to know if you have scored the 12 points as that’s down to the case manager. Unfortunately the case manager does not always share our own opinion in terms of how our condition affects us.
Hopefully you will get your letter soon and be able to see if a MR is appropriate0 -

My advice is to wait for the decision letter so you can see exactly what the award is and where you scored those points. Once you receive it if you need further advice you can then post back here and i'm sure someone will advise you further. You can also have a look at this link while you wait for that decision letter. https://pipinfo.net/ So many people have very limited understanding of the descriptors and criteria so it's easy to overscore yourself, as well as underscore yourself.

Hi everyone, so I had my letter back and I got standard living and highest mobility! Which I'm very happy with even though I scored 0 for some of the sections I get help with sand I told her this and I still scored 0!
I'm still very happy with the outcome and I will be reviewed in 2 years.
Do you think I should appeal the decision?
Bit confused what to do as I don't want to be greedy but feel I could easily scored 12 points for the advanced payment. Have a great weekend0 -
Before doing anything else you need to get some expert advice, start here. https://advicelocal.uk/ no one here can tell you whether it's possible to score more points for Enhanced because we don't know exactly how your conditions affect you.
