I've been awarded pip but yet to receive the letter. Will I still receive the backpayment tomorrow?

hi i recently been awarded pip but yet to received the letter i call up on tueday and the guy said that i would get a backpayment of three thousand on fri 25 but i still havent got a letter will i still receive that money

Hi,

You may not receive the decision letter until at least the middle of next week. BACS payments take 3-5 working days to go into your bank, which is quicker than the post.

the guy on the phone had told me that i would receive my backpayment on the 25th of this month. im just wondering if the money will go in.

You’ll just have to wait and see.

It should hopefully go through @ryanshane As the others have said, it's quite common to receive the payment before the letter comes through due to the speed of the post. Does that make sense?
