Good afternoon. I have submitted a mandatory reconsideration for my PIP application has been declined. This was submitted on 15th Feb; as suggested on the forum I called today to ensure it had been received and logged. The advisor told me that it had not been received and had probably been sent to Wolverhampton office (which was the issuing office and indeed the correspondence address) and may take around 4 weeks to get to the right department. I have confirmed that it has been Delivered and Signed For. What are my next steps?

Wait and ring again in a couple of weeks to see if it's now recorded as received. Post goings to a sorting office where it is scanned and DWP fo not record it as received until it is scanned and uploaded. There are often delays of several weeks between delivery and scanning (totally dysfunctional and inadequate).
