My daughter is moving over to pip from DLA she is severe dyslexic and has retain information the only evidence I had was when she was in primary school- I received a letter saying they had all they needed and I didn't need to do a phone assessment- what are the chance's of her be awarded anything on a paperbased assessment- I don't have anyone they can call just private reports and a Ehcp.

Hi,I've never known anyone be refused with a paper based assessment. Decision timescales are between 2-12 weeks. There's nothing more you can do but wait. Once the decision's been made if you're not happy you can request the Mandatory Reconsideration.1

If I have to do a MR but don't have any more evidence- what could I fill/add to the MR- sorry if this is a silly question but never dealt with pip before and DLA awarded to until she was 16 so never had to re-apply0

I think you should cross that bridge if you come to it because at the moment it's impossible to predict anything. If you're not happy with the decision then post back here and someone will advise you further.0

Hello @kelly0123 it's certainly okay to feel uncertain around the process of applying for PIP, after all it's completely new for you, so this is understandable. It's completely fine to have questions.
I would echo Poppy's advice and say to take things step by step. Looking at everything all at once can get overwhelming very quickly. The community is a very knowledgeable place when it comes to PIP, and challenging any decisions, so you know there will always be support here whatever happens.
Try and focus on the paper based application first of all. Scope has some guidance on filling out the form and there's also this discussion thread on the same subject, which I hope you'll find helpful.
If any questions come up in the meantime, please don't hesitate to ask
