Hi all
Just need bit of advice Toby just tested positive for covid after coming home with symptoms
I've tried looking for the answer but keep getting different outcomes
My question is should he go to school ? I know there are no legal requirements to self isolate now but some searched say send them to school 9thers say don't
I will call school in the morning bug I know how amazing you all are at finding reliable sources

Hi all yes 2nd time he has had it and its come on really quick . He was OK when he got in from school then by 8pm was poorly
Pretty much what I found but thanks for your help
Don't think he will be well enough to go anyway .
Keeping my fingers and toes crossed as we had big hugs yesterday for about half hour so hope I'm not going to get it0 -
Update
School are still following old guidelines to not attend if test positive
Then test in day 5 and 6 and if negative can return . If not need 2 negative before returning or return after 10 days0 -
Won’t this all change in the coming weeks though? When the home tests won’t be available to order anymore?0

@MarkM88 I'm not sure but toby still gets a supply from school as children don't pay for prescriptions so presume they are still free
@Teddybear12 he isn't very well at all flu like symptoms but nothing too concerning so far . Thanks for asking
Also to all I'm not saying that is what is happening in all schools can only comment on his school0 -
Hope he gets better soon and you manage to stay well too @janer1967.
