What could a £334.68 payment mean?

Thank you for accepting me onto the forum.
I Applied for PIP on 1st December 2021.
Had video assessment 16th March
Called DWP today to request a copy of my assessment as i had a text to say they had yhe written report last week and was asked for my DOB by an automated service which told me my next PIP payment is going into my bank on 20th April ! The payment was for £334.68 ! This is confusing because I applied on 1st December and so this cannot be the back payment and I have no idea of the breakdown ie which awards I have been given. No award letter received so far. Has anyone else had this happen ? Also would the £334.68 amount be for 1 month ?

Hi,If awarded, money owed is paid seperately and you usually receive this before the decision letter. Then you will receive a payment every 4 weeks. If that automated message is correct then some of that will include the new rates from April and it could be standard rate for both parts but that's only a guess.I have no idea how accurate the automated message is because to the best of my knowledge it's a fairly new thing. Though we have had a member who had that message and when onto not be awarded but i'm not saying this will happen to you.1

Thanks for the reply Poppy. I guess I'll have to wait for the letter.1
