Hi all, after 3 spinal operations and a nerve root block injection (that didn't work), I'm now being considered for up to 3 more, can't explain in words how terrified and anxious I am, Id love to touch base with someone who has a similar experience to me, just as a sounding board, I'm currently claiming ESA contribution based only🤞🥰

    Hi @Spinney

Sorry to hear of your experiences, it must be really frustrating to have had operations in the past that haven't worked, and I imagine that it is causing you quite a bit of stress that there is the prospect of more.

Have you shared your concerns with your medical team? I'm sure that they will only be considering the operations because they believe they could have a good chance of helping you.

Hi @Ross_Scope, thanks for replying, I am making another appointment to talk a little more about it as 10 minutes at my last appointment wasn't long enough, they had previously told me back in March that nothing much had changed, but thought a nerve root block injection might help, which I had, so kinda thought I was going back to discuss that, so when he got my MRI up on screen and proceeded to explain the sh*t show that is my spine, totally not what he told me a month ago, and the letter I had after the MRI said the same, no change.,..I was pretty confused, so yep trying to book in for another chat☺️

I'm sure you won't have appeared that way @spinney, but I do understand that sometimes things can seem a bit overwhelming and that can make it hard to process and react.
