Are you referring to a form about your health? If so, this would not be sent to you unless you are claiming ESA.
What other benefits do you claim?0 -
Are you sure you didn't apply for PIP and it was the forms for this that you filled in and returned?

Hi,Is this anything to with your your other thread here. https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/90261/esa#latestIf you're definitely claiming Income Support then you wouldn't have received a work capability assessment form. Are you sure it wasn't a PIP form you received?

Hi there @Mandyrussell100 and welcome to the community
I've just moved this post over into our ESA category and merged it with your other discussion, so it's easier for members to share their thoughts.
How can we help you?0 -

Hi it’s definitely income support I get and it was a ESA form I had to fill in because I was told that they are doing away with income support0

I'm sorry but it makes no sense at all why you received the work capabilty assessment form when you're claiming Income Support. The only ESA that's possible to claim now is New style ESA and for this you'll need to have paid the correct amount of NI contributions.Eventually you will be invited to claim Universal Credit but managed migration hasn't started yet.0

Hi poppy I know I don’t understand anything about it myself only that they are doing away with income support because it’s a legacy benefit maybe because I get pip at the highest rate for both of them because off my complex health problems0

Hi sorry I meant to say that I stay in Scotland so I don’t know if this applies to England and Wales0

The same rules apply nationally. Yes, UC is replacing the old legacy benefits. However, as advised the Work capability assessment form has nothing to do with Income Support.0
