PIP Help. Is it possible to get my PIP a week early?

Hi @mccaddam I'm not sure if it's possible to change the dates that payments are scheduled in.
I've had a look on the Gov.uk website and it says you can only get paid in a different way if you have problems opening or managing an account.
Do let me know if there's anything else you feel we can help with, and I hope your hospital appointment goes well

Hi there
I'm pretty sure they won't change the payment date just as a one off it would be a lot of admin work to do that as ot is a 4 weekly payment so if you had it a week early you wouldn't be entitled to 4 weeks of payment0 -
If you are having trouble getting to your appt are you eligible for patient transport or are there any voluntary groups in your community that can help0

I agree with Janer here and it's very likely not possible to receive your payment for PIP earlier. Do you have family or a friend that can take you to your appointment? Or someone that you can lend money from just until you get your PIP.

That's great advice thanks jane, @mccaddam you can find out more about how to organise transport to and from hospital on the NHS website.
The Healthcare Travel Costs Scheme can help with the cost of travel to and from hospital if you need support.0
