Welcome to the community @libcogan2003 :) How are you doing this evening? It's great to have you with us.

I can see that you're looking for a job at the moment. It can be a bit of a slog, but I hope you find something suitable soon!

How are you finding the job search so far? If you feel you could benefit from some friendly advice and support, you might be interested in accessing one of our employment services, such as Support to Work

I've moved your post into our employment category. You might also find it helpful to scroll through there, and see whether anyone's in a similar position to you.

Hello and welcome to the community @libcogan2003, I hope you are well this morning.

Finding and staying in employment can be more of a challenge for disabled people, often because employers aren't aware of how they can make application processes and the job itself more accessible.

I hope the links provided by Tori can be helpful for you. DO you have an idea of the sort of work you want to get into?

A lot of people can relate to that feeling @libcogan2003 :)

Have you ever done any volunteering at the jobs you'd be interested in? That is a good way to build up experience to show future employers.

I'd definitely get in touch with our employment services to see if they can help too.

    Hi there

You will need child care qualifications to work with children so I would start there first

Along with that you will need a criminal record check even if its voluntary so you may already have this if yoy have had voluntary work so it will need to be current
