Sorry for the capital letters but I have to share the good news.
I looked in my bank account this morning and I've been backdated 🤗
I'm not sure where I've scored points and for how long, but atm I don't particularly care, I just want to share that MRs DO sometimes work, and if you have any doubts about doing a MR, do it anyway, the worst that can happen is they say no.

Hi thats great news so happy for you. Well done
If you don't mind could I ask what info/evidence did u send if any?
What was you initial decision of PIP.?
Were u scored any points?
Did you do a written MR?
I'm back at the MR stage. I had a decision of NO award. They called and said due to a error its been sent back for Mandatory reconsideration.
Thank you in advance ☺

I did filled in a written MR rather than on the phone, and used a extra page, going point by point which descriptors I met, used a real life example, and how many points I thought I should be scoring. I also sent in a new letter from my therapist.
As for original points, I got 4 in daily living and 0 in mobility. I'm not 100% but I think I move been awarded enhanced daily living and standard mobility from the MR.

I do have a quick question - I've received the backdated lump sum, is my first 4 weeks PIP payment included in that lump sum or does it come later?
Thanks in advance0 -
The money in your bank will be what they owed you up until a certain date. Your first 4 weekly payment will be 4 weeks after that date. When you receive the decision letter it will tell you everything you need to know.1
