Hiya , new here, hoping someone can help. I applied for pip first time Feb 15th, had an assessment Friday 13th May then received a text on Monday 15th to say they had the report. I requested it and it showed I was recommended 8 points for standard living . I knows it only a week later but I today called the automated line and after confirming details it says first payment of 808.77 to be paid in March? Very confused by that as A it's not march we're in May and I only has assessment last week!

I've just spoken to them and payment is due on the 26th of May! Exactly 1 week and 2 days since receiving my report. I've been awarded standard rate living .0

Good morning @Shellzxxx
Well done ! that sounds like a really good result. The important thing is - are you happy with the decision? Is it what you were hoping for? I would suggest you carefully check the decision notice when you receive it and also the breakdown explaining how your PIP award is made up. If it is less than you hoped for you can challenge the decision but there are risks in doing this and it is likely there would be a long wait for a Tribunal date. Details of how to challenge the decision will be contained in the DWP's decision letter and you have 30 days from the date of the decision letter to put in an appeal request. Late appeals are allowed (as long as they are made within 13 months of the decision date) but you need to show a reason why the appeal is made late.
Anyway, I hope you are happy with the outcome. Well done !

I selected option 6 I think it was . I honestly didn't think I would get the mobility part so I'm not worried about that however I do think i underscored on the standard living on 2 questions but if I'm honest I'm grateful for even the basic amount as I know how hard some people struggle to claim . I feel super lucky with how how quick this has all been . Xxx0

One question I do have is, will this back pay amount include my normal payment? Meaning after this payment there won't be another until 4 weeks? Is that right ?0

That's correct. The decision letter will tell you what date the money owed is paid from and to.
