Are you claiming UC as a single person or with a partner? If with a partner are they state pension age or below?

Your ESA and UC should automatically end. The ESA will end on the day you reach pension age. You will get one final UC payment at the end of the UC period in which you reach pension age.

You should keep an eye on your accounts at the time just in case they continue to pay you by mistake.

Are you claiming any help with rent, Council Tax Reduction or any disability benefits?

So the Council Tax help will continue. If your State Pension will be less than £182.60*/week you will be eligible for Pension Credit. (*This figure assumes you are not getting a disability benefit.)

No I don't get a disability benefit and I think my state pension is going to be approx £185

Based on that state pension amount you will be about £112 per month better off. That's assuming your Council Tax reduction will stay the same as it is now.
