Hi Guys, as you know I was awarded PIP but not sure what I was awarded, I finally received the letter today. I will be asking for a Mandatory Reconsideration today, but I am not sure how to go about it or whether or not I can do it online as I don't have a printer. Any help would be much appreciated as where to start and what tod do. Thank you in advance.

Hi @shellbell20
Thanks for your post, I hope you are well.
You might find this guide on the CAB website helpful, and it also contains a link to a form on the Gov.uk website that you can use as a template for requesting the MR.
I don't think you can do it online unless you request it as a reasonable adjustment, hopefully at some point the entire process will be able to be done online for everyone.0 -
Thanks Ross for your kind words from yesterday. I am bearing up, not been great to be honest and I think you are right, I cant do it online. I cant do it by hand as my eyesight isn't the greatest and I don't have the patience with writing. I can touch type though which I find easier. I just don't have a printer which stops me from doing things like this. I guess I will have to send it to my son who I will see on Saturday to print off. xRoss_Scope said:Hi @shellbell20

Biblioklept said:have you worked out what you think oyu should get based on the descriptor points and which sections you haven't got the points you should have? Without the report its hard to determine. I know I have no points at all with mobility, but I suffer greatly with arthiritis, in pain when I only do a short walk. I suffer with Menieres Disease and go dizzy when I am out, cant hear the cars approaching sometimes and I have anxiety attacks whilst out. I tend not to go out, only at night time if I have to so I am not in crowded places. I knew at the assessment the person doing wasn't really interested and never let me expand on things. Its not one singular thing, its all of them combined together. I am not sure I can do a Mandatory reconsideration with the report. Hmmm0
