I have just claimed PIP for the first time, I have felt to guilt before as i am able to work, but my Asthma has been deteriorating for some time, so worth a go. Lets see what they say :)

Welcome to the community @Kirsty009009 :) It's great to have you with us, so thank you for joining!

Just so you know, I've moved your post into our PIP category so that other members can find it more easily.

I know it's easier said than done, but you shouldn't feel guilty for claiming benefits to which you're entitled. It's also worth remembering that PIP isn't about work, but rather activities relating to daily living and mobility. How have you found the PIP process so far?

I work and I have asthma too, but not as bad as yours. You`ll be advised by many people, including myself, that PIP is about how your health affects your day to day living, not about how your health is.
