No because it doesn't affect any of your benefits.

Thanks Poppy, but if it's a yes then I notify both?0
-
You don't need to notify them of anything because your benefits are completely separate to your mum's.1
-
Why do they ask "is the person you're caring for receiving any of the drop down list (pension credit mentioned)?0
-
Because SDP is paid as part of pension credit but as advised, she won't be entitled to this because you live with her and you're not claiming a qualifying disability benefit.Carers allowance will send a letter to your mum to tell her that someone has claimed Carers allowance for them.1

Poppy how much would she miss out on because I'm claiming carers allowance and carers element on UC? Is it an option for me to retract those in order for her to claim more pension credit if she's eligible?0

Is it an option for me to retract those in order for her to claim more pension credit if she's eligible? She's not missing out on anything because she's not entitled to the Severe disability premium because you live with her, which has been advised a few times.Whether she's entitled to pension credit will totally depend on how much her state pension is (and other income, if any)0
