PIP Update

Had a PIP award review in Feb 2022(papers sent in) pa3 assessment..

Called PIP today and, was told on the phone that they have made a decision. Enhanced on both aspects until 2028. 

Until i see it in black and white i wont believe it..🤨 but the chances of the gentleman getting it wrong must be slim right?...
Anyway.. My question is, as it was an Award review, have they now taken that as a complete renewal application? due to the award extending to 2028 as my original award was expiring in dec 22nd 2022

It’s unlikely that you were given the wrong information today. 

It was a review so your new award wIll end in 2028. If this award is higher than your previous one then your new payment will start from the date the decision was made. 

You’ll be contacted again about 6 months before the award ends.

I was on Enchanced before.  It seems the assessor went through all of my paperwork thoroughly(not casting aspersions that they dont per se) but i sent in surgery notes, St Thomas' specialist and Guys etc. 99 pieces of info!

I can hopefully ,finally rest ,from the fear of error. It was an extremely thorough detailed account of all my issues ,and the assessors note nailed all of the key limitations and
 real world issues.

Thanks for that!.... i only hope it goes well for everyone else.. Must be stressful for the assessors also, to have to go through so much backlog..
