DWP not responding to PIP appeal

Hi all,
I put my original claim in for pip back in May 2021. It was rejected in Nov 2021. I received paperwork explaining which points I had & that I did not qualify for pip. I did the MR which was also rejected.
I received a phone call
2 weeks after the MR letter telling me they had sent the wrong letter - the result was the same, but they hadn’t sent the right letter to do an appeal. It took weeks & several
phone calls to receive the appeal
letter. I have now appealed at the beginning of June. I have been tracking it online & DWP should have responded by the 5th July, but they haven’t.

Do I need to do anything or do I just wait?
I’ve never done this before so Im
not sure where I go with it now?
many thanks.

Hello and welcome @Bevlaaar it's great to have you join the community
I'm sorry to hear a date for your tribunal is still in the works at the moment, how are you feeling about it all in general? Please do feel free to have a look around and get involved wherever you’d like 😊 I've linked a few good starting places to explore and get to know other members below:
- The virtual coffee lounge which is one of our categories, in which we play games and talk about general subjects such as hobbies and interests
- The recent discussions page, which shows an overview of everything happening across the community
- The categories page, which shows a full list of discussion groups on the community
If you have any questions at all then don’t hesitate to ask, and I hope you're staying cool in the heat today!
Alex
