Confused. Will I qualify for the cost of living payment?

I had to make a universal credit claim in may due to the break up of a relationship I’ve not worked for 4 years due to a disability and get pip, my claim was excepted with my first payment of u/c on the 23rd June it said this is for the assessment period 17th may until 16th June I’m really confused will I qualify for the cost of living payment or not it seems nobody is really sure thanks for your help in advance

Unfortunately not because you need to have received a payment for an assessment period that ended in the period 26 April 2022 to 25 May 2022.You didn't start your claim until 17th May, which is outside of the criteria. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/cost-of-living-paymentThe criteria for the 2nd payment of £324 hasn't been announced yet but you may qualify for that.You will receive the £150 in September because of your PIP.
