Hi and welcome to the community
If you have been awarded lcw there is no additional payment so will be no backpay
You only get extra money if awarded lcwra
If so it is paid from the 4th assessment period after reporting your condition
Without exact dates ev date you reported and you'd assessment period dates we can't tell when it would be backdated could be may or June1 -
Is it LCW or LCWRA you were awarded? If LCW there's no extra money for this
Is this for UC?1 -
Welcome to the community @sharon2019 Thanks for joining!
Just to let you know, I've renamed your post, and moved it into our category for discussions relating to Universal Credit.
Did you get awarded LCW, or LCWRA? Entitledto have some information on their website about the difference between them.0 -
PLease check your decision letter to see exactly what it says. If it's limite capability for work, there's no extra money. If it's limited capability for work related activity then extra money is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition.0

Hi ya yea it sayes lcw OK thanks for that information0

If you disagree with that decision and think you qualify for LCWRA then you can request the Mandatory Reconsideration. You need to state why you think you should be in that group and your reasons why. You can see the descriptors here https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/universal-credit-uc/uc-faq/limited-capability-for-work-related-activity1
