So I have just won my PIP appeal that goes all the way back to March 2021. I have been awarded the standard daily living. I am also on ESA in the support group and I was wondering if this entitles me to SDP? I live with both of my parents however they both receive PIP and my dad also receives ESA.

Good news. Which ESA are you claiming? If it’s Income Related and both your parents are claiming daily living PIP then yes you will be entitled to SDP.You will need to wait until the PIP award is in payment and then you can ring ESA to claim it.If your parents are claiming Income Related ESA providing no one is claiming carers allowance or carers element of UC for looking after them then they will also be entitled to the SDP.0

After a Tribunal win it can take between 2-8 weeks, sometimes longer to receive money that's owed and about the same time to put an award into payment.
