Hi, I’ve received the pip report and added up the points. Do dwp go with what’s recommended on the report?

Hi @morr12 and thanks for your query. That's down to the decision maker, who will be looking at the recommendation in the report, and the form you sent as well as any medical evidence, to come to a decision.
I think the majority tend to go with the recommendation, but it is possible for the decision maker to award PIP differently. Does that make sense for you?
How are you feeling about everything so far?

ok thank you. Yes everything is fine so far. Just hope they review the form soon, to find out. This was a change in circumstances/renew, do they have longer wait times?0

2-12 weeks but can be longer.0

Ahh okay @morr12 thanks for explaining for us.
I'm not sure on the waiting times for reviews I'm afraid, but I know a lot of people are having a little longer to wait due to backlogs. Fingers crossed it won't take too long for you!0 -
The same time as new claims for decisions between 2-12 weeks.Alex_Scope said:Ahh okay @morr12 thanks for explaining for us.
