There are long delays at the moment and new claims are taking priority over reviews.1

I'm in the middle of a review, they got my forms the 13/12/2021 and still waiting. 8 months. I could be waiting another few months yet. I did call them on the 12/08/22 to find out its with an assessor and I could still be waiting months due to waiting for an avaliable appointment x1

You should continue to get paid until they have made a decision. A long wait I know! But I wish you all the best. I will keep this forum updated when I know more about my claim

I'm sorry about the wait you're experiencing @leonas that can't be easy to manage. I'm glad you were able to feel supported by our members, and know that you're not alone in facing delays.
If you have any questions in the meantime, do ask, and I hope it won't be too much longer until you both hear more from the DWP

You are not alone @leonas and it is really positive that you are able to recognise that. Would anything, in particular, help you whilst you wait to get paid? We are here for you if we can do anything to help. You take care and stay safe too
