I’ve just had a F2F app with regard to LCWRA
I made claim for UC end of Oct 21 and have had continuous sick notes since.. sent off UC50 end of November 21

Lady at assessment centre was lovely and very open that she would have no hesitation in recommending the enhanced rate, so my fingers are firmly crossed.

My question is how long would/does it take for a decision (roughly) and is the enhanced rate £354 pm for a single person on top of the UC I currently receive.

I see info online that applications after 2017 receive no award is this correct?

Any info is a bonus thank you

The assessor shouldn't have said anything to you because it's not their job to do that. There's no such thing as enhanced rate for UC. If you're found to have LCWRA then you'll be entitled to extra money from the 4th month after you reported your health condition. The extra money is £354.28/month on top of what you usually receive. There's no such thing as single person LCWRA, it's one payment and the same for everyone, whether you're single or not.
The 2017 rule applies to those that are found to have LCW, which means there will be no extra money if the decision is LCW.
It can take up to 12 weeks for a decision. Once it's made if you have a journal the decision letter will be uploaded on there.

    I have been awarded LCWRA
Very impressed that a decision was made and posted on my journal within 3 days of the assessment.
