There are no timescales, somtimes if it's not straight forward then it can take longer. Once a decision is made you will receive the decision letter. If any money is owed, usually you receive that in your bank before the decision letter.

hi hi sorry I’m new here and don’t know how to start a new thread, I have been receiving esa income related and pip standard living for approx 10 years a few weeks ago I recieved an is10 form about my living situation and filled it in. I followed up with a call to the esa to make sure they recieved it and the lady informed me I haven’t been getting sdp premium the who time I’ve been on these 2 benefits. When she told me the amount a week I’ve been underpaid for past 10 years I was shocked and a bit overwhelmed cos just by the simple match I know that’s a lot of money that has been accumulated, what will happen next as it’s weekend now and can’t speak to nobody for advise? Any help will be appreciated. The lady told me she can’t discuss it with me because it’s someone else dealing with my case and she’s not in the office.0

As this is for 10 years you could be waiting longer for any money that maybe owed. The SDP should be put into payment quite quickly. To start a new thread, if you're using a computer on the top right hand side of the screen you will see a box with a +new post in it. Click on that and choose the topic where you want to post and type your question then click submit. If you're using a mobile phone there will be a + on your screen when you're logged into the forum, click that and then click new discussion, you can then choose your topic and post your question.1
