I won an appeal for lcwra 4 month ago, I have not received any confirmation at all from DWP, nothing on my online journal and no payments. I phoned them today and got told there was nothing on the system. Any advice is appreciated on what to do. The only evidence I have is a letter from welfare rights saying I won the appeal.

HMCTS should have contacted DWP by sending a letter to them. The same letter should have been sent to you and your representative. You either need to contact HMCTS or Welfare Rights to ask them to send you the decision letter from the Tribunal. A letter from WR saying you won your appeal isn't going to help.1

Thank you I'm waiting for a call back from welfare rights at the moment I will ask for a copy.0

Once you receive that i'd advise you to send a copy to UC.

Ok thanks0

Just another thought. Are you sure the decision was LCWRA and not just LCW? There's no extra money each month if the decision was LCW.

I applied for lcwra and was awarded lcw in November 2020, but the appeal was for lcwra0

I got an email from welfare rights with proof of the courts decision, I have uploaded this to my UC journal. I'm just waiting for a response.0

Hope it all gets sorted today for you @bethany20221

While waiting did you have to provide fit notes and visit the jc regularly0

No I didn't, they said they accepted my illness and it will be reviewed at a later date.0

I emailed them the letter from the tribunal about 1 month ago, 2 days before that I was told a case manager would be in touch with me by the 10th of October, again I have heard no confirmation, nothing saying someone has looked at the letter and no word back from the case manager.0

Try contacting your Local MP, this usually gets them shifted. https://www.parliament.uk/about/contacting/mp/

It's into the second month I think since handing the tribunal letter to the DWP and all I've been told two weeks ago is "we have no updates yet, you will know first before us, the decision maker will put it in your journal" I didn't contact the MP. Welfare rights said it should take no longer than two month so I'll wait a few more weeks.0

The only other thing that could be delaying putting your award into payment will be DWP have requested the statement of reasons from HMCTS. If this has happened it can delay paying you what's owed.
