Does anyone know if I scored 6 on daily living and 4 on mobility is this a pass or not my daughter said they add the total together I'm confused thankyou.

Hi @pippa67 - & welcome to the community. Unfortunately your daughter is incorrect, as you need 8 or more points to be awarded the standard rate for either of the components looked at, i.e. the daily living & mobility components; the points are not added together, rather each component looked at separately. 12 points or more are needed for the enhanced rate, again looking at each component separately.

Have you had the decision or are you going from the assessment report if you are this ie only a recommendation and not the final decision

Good morning @pippa67 and welcome to the online community. I see that our members have already replied to you post. I would add to what janer1967 said and you can challenge the decision of the DWP by asking for a mandatory reconsideration of the DWP's decision. You must do this within 30 days of the date of the DWP's decision letter. You can make a request late (provided it is made within 13 months) but you must give a reason why the request is made late. Whilst it is quite common for the decision not to be revised following a mandatory reconsideration it is not unusual for people to have success on appeal.
