Hi I am kdbur and new here.
I have standard daily care component but no mobility component.
My mobility has decreased now and I wondered if I should risk getting a mobility component added on or whether it would put my current payment at risk. I as this because I am aware DWP often look at a claim in a way to refuse a claim.
I ned the component added on but do not want to end up with nothing.
Thanks,
KD

Hi and welcome to the community
You would need to put in a change in circumstances to have your award reviewed and this starts the whole process off agai eg forms and assessments
They will review all descriptors and the new decision will over ride the award you currently have in place which could result in getting the same award or an increased award or being refused any award
You should get expert ad ice b4 putting in a change to see if you maybe eligible for a higher award seek advice from cab or welfare rights1
