Hi all. So I applied for pip in July they sent a message saying they had received my forms sept 1st had my accessment on sept 28th. It was mentioned to be a video call but ended up been a phone call as the accessors camera wasn't working🙂 this helped me to relax more as I felt really bad know I had to face someone. The accessment went really well. I'm just wondering as I had the accessment quick will it be the same with the dession

Once the assessment report is returned to DWP a decision can take 2-12 weeks. No one can predict whether the decision will be made as quickly as your assessment took.

You have a similar timeline to me. I applied 20th July. Had assessment 22nd September and they received my assessment same day. Now 2 weeks have passed and not heard anything. I'm hoping it's quicker than 8 weeks. I called as I changed some personal details and they said its with a case handler and shouldn't be long but I'm sure we have different definitions of what a long time is.1

I applied middle of July. Had my assessment 15th September and now I’m waiting for my result. The normal wait result time is 2-12 weeks.1

I found it quiet quick for the accessment as when I applied for my son it took 7 months start to finish. Fingers crossed we hear something soon.. Please do keep me posted on your outcomes
